Summer is Calling!

Some days are so long. You ever had one of those days that you felt like went on for 3 weeks! Well it has felt like this last month of school has gone on for a year! I know that I'm supposed to be in school and I do love it for the most part but I feel this urge in me to do nothing but relax. Ever since I smelled the first signs of spring I have wanted to do nothing but sit by the pool, read and hang out with David and friends. Its like that switch in my brain that motivates me to be productive has been shut off. Luckily I spend most of each day hanging out with friends, some 5 years old and some over fifty but none the less it makes the days a lot easier. Yet, the sweet smell of flowers, pool and sunshine are calling my name. Anyone up for a pool party soon?!?!

  1. I'm not big on Summer because its hot and I dont like hot. I like Spring and Fall but I am ready for summer. Alissa is getting to get on my nerves with home work and ect. Math is alittle harder now and she says she cant do it, shes stupit and stuff. This week on Speling was alittle harder. She usually misses one word on pre-test on Thursday but yesturday she missed 5 words. Today is the real test and I'm worried. this morning she did only miss a couple words when I went over them, but you never know what will happen on the actual test. Lot of times the words she got right on pre-test she'll end up getting some wrong. Vocab words and def. are harder too. Reading is the homework we have no problem with. Shes good at that. I quess shes not wanting to do homework because its so close to summer and pool time. Shes tired of it all, learning and ect. Pool party sounds good. like I said I'm not in to the heat but i will. We always go to Hawaiian Falls.

  2. I am game for a little marco polo! Oh wait maybe I will be the ref...oh well I will just enjoy the crisp sunburn, chlorine, fun pool toys and of course who does a pool party without the hot dogs on the grill. I will bring the ice cooler full and a watermelon (even though I dont like it) since it is a party favorite!
